Fine Arts at ACA
The Fine Arts program at Atlanta Classical Academy provides students with an opportunity to explore, develop and be challenged in their pursuit to “learn the true, do the good, and love the beautiful.”
Fine Arts At-A-Glance
Students are engaged in music or art every day in K-8th grade. This is unlike what any other school is doing in our area. This extra time allows us to:
Provide students the opportunity to appreciate, imitate, and create.
Focus daily on developing techniques, which leads to a great appreciation and deeper understanding of the art form.
Study the great masterworks and connect them to what is going on in the world at the time.
Each of our Fine Arts teachers is actively
creating and performing outside of the
school day.
Every student in grades 5-10
sings in a choir at least
one day a week.
We produce several theater productions
open to student performers in
grades 4-12 throughout the year.
Every third-grade student has
the opportunity to learn violin
for a semester.
Lower school students
can participate in piano, strings, theater,
and art classes after school.
The Visual Arts Scholars Program allows art students to grow and be challenged without missing other elective offerings.
